I had a baby a year ago i was wondering at what age would be best to start weaning him.

I think everyone is different ... I had to go back to work shortly after my daughter was born and so I only nursed for about ten weeks. Then as I weaned her I would only nurse at night. It was gradual until we were both ready.

I know her doctor said after 1 year I could give her cow's milk instead of formula and they preferred whole milk. Every situation is different. I think the best thing is that you are comfortable with the decision. You baby will know if you are forcing yourself to go one way or another. Do what feels right.

That's the best advice I can give.
