Hey people:
Your opinion counts! We'd like to hear what you think about things!
Challenge your friends or neighbors to come on-line and then post a couple of times a day (or enjoy a little friendly competition with those you disagree with).
... Or, who knows, maybe you'll find this addictive and post even more!
NOW GET OFF THAT COMPUTER GAME AND TRY THIS INSTEAD!
Who are you? Are you a young single concerned about your career and finding a partner? Are you a busy parent? Are you a senior or retiree? Are you a college student? Are you a high school student? Are you someone who works out of your home? Are you someone who works in Fort Collins, but lives in another town (or lives in Fort Collins or Loveland or Windsor or Wellington and commutes to Denver)? Are you someone from out of town whose son or daughter is going to CSU? Are you someone who is thinking about moving to this area? Are you someone who used to live here?
What do you like and what are your ideas? What do you have beefs about and why? Give details...
It's really easy to post on the forums. Yeah, registration is required and you have to give your e-mail address, but your e-mail address can be kept private from other users and you can use a pen name. And no, you don't get spam as a result of signing up and don't have to agree to advertising or promotions.
JUST DO IT! You might get a kick out of it!

TG,
I know YOU must have more things to talk about
Maybe I'll post my profile...someday....
But don't you think people are getting an idea of who I am.... ... just from my posts?
Did you see the stuff on the gecko under science and school? And the comments about the Final Four? And that I was still sneaking to read MAD magazine?
BTW, are those birds still coming to your juniper tree?

nisp.... with all due respect.. I rarely read past third paragraph of a cutnpaste.. especially if I see that it's really long..
your garage sale post was good.. but the link kinda too over the top..
anyway, looks like we're both trying to "solicit members".. we just do it differently..
btw.. the robins seem to be fat and properly paired.. I put down some grass seed in the back yard and have been watering it twice a day.. the watering has brought up the worms for the birds.. mmmmm.. worms..

Well TG,
As you say, everyone's different. I think we all read the parts of things we are interested in... and then we all have different attention spans...
But when I read the newspaper, I also do that, the more I'm interested in something, the more I read... and then I go on-line and look for more...
I do cut and pastes at times because there are different things or excepts which caught my interest and I'm still letting things gel...
But the one woman who came on-line and posted a whole article...ugh! That's what we have links for...but then I got interested in the issue she brought up and went looking for more... but I hoped she'd come back and she just did the one post... so go figure.
As you may have gathered...I enjoy both the light stuff and the heavy stuff...and I think there's plenty of room for both...which gives me an idea to go start a new topic on computer games.
BTW, the birds sure seem to be hungry. I'm not doing the watering I should be and they are still pecking at my yard...as are the Canadian geese...but I wish those guys would "attend to the wants of nature" either in my yard or on the street...and stay the heck off my sidewalk and pathway to the front door...
You got any night crawlers for fishing? Or are those worms just the skinny ones?
