I've visited many times (in all seasons) over the past 20 years and really enjoy it. I'm thinking about making the move this Fall. Born in S.F. and spent my whole life in the Bay Area. Having 4 real seasons was a bit of a change, but Winter really wasn't that bad. I could do with less wind, but still love the city. Kids have really done well also. Great city. I know there's always those who would prefer not to be having everyone from around the country move on in, but I respond to those by bringing some positive change with me. Coming from California, I have a very conservation-oriented philosphy - from water to electricity to recycling. These are attitudes that can only benefit the region.
